Rooted in Ottawa, Illinois, IIP’s history stretches back more than a century, with carrier relationships dating as far back as 1900. The agency as it is known today was established in 1967 by John McGrath and later carried forward by longtime friends Pete McGrath and Jay Bottarini. We are honored to partner with Pete, Jay, and their team to continue a legacy built on trusted relationships and service to their local community.
