The Hicks Insurance Agency was founded in 1976 by Paul and Judy Hicks. The agency was then purchased by Everett and Diane Hughes in 2002 and renamed Everett Hughes Insurance. After Everett's passing in 2007, the agency was purchase a year later by Benjamin Schoettmer and rebranded to Hughes Insurance Group.
