In 2025, Independent Brokers Agency (IBA), a family-founded and operated insurance agency based in St. Louis, Missouri, proudly became the first office in Missouri to partner with WalkerHughes Insurance.

IBA was founded in 1987 by Joe Wessels with the help and support of his wife, Sandy Wessels. In 2018, Heather Wessels and Mike Swatske assumed operations, and in 2020, ownership of IBA.
