Harrell Financial Services Inc. was started in 1998 by Kit and Anita Harrell. Kit had already spent over 20 successful years in the insurance industry and decided to start his own insurance agency to better serve his clients. Between the years of 1998 and 2005 Harrell Financial Services focused on insurance, financial services and mortgage loans. In 2005 Kit merged together with Brian Kline in forming Harrell & Kline Insurance LLC.

Harrell & Kline joined WalkerHughes Insurance in March of 2019.
