About our Referral Program
At WalkerHughes Insurance, there is no higher compliment than a referral. A referral tells us we've met the mark—that our customers are satisfied with the service provided and trust us enough to recommend us to those closest to them. We know how important friends and family members are, and we promise to treat them like our own.
To show our appreciation, we’ve created a referral program with heart. For every referral that completes a no-obligation insurance review, WalkerHughes will donate $10 to our Charity of the Quarter. This program supports causes that matter to our team and helps organizations making a difference in our communities.
Why FIDO Indy?
FIDO Indy was nominated by Nancy Stafford, a Commercial Lines Account Manager based out of our Indianapolis, IN office. FIDO Indy is an Indianapolis-based organizations dedicated to improving the lives of dogs and supporting the families who care for them. Nancy has been inspired by FIDO for many years, seeing how their tireless efforts meet the needs of her local community.
About FIDO Indy
Since 2005, their team has worked directly in neighborhoods across the city, providing education, resources, and hands-on support to help pets live safer, healthier lives. With a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, FIDO Indy meets families where they are and builds lasting relationships that strengthen the bond between people and their pets.
Each year, FIDO supports approximately 900 households and over 5,000 dogs and cats through programs that remove barriers to responsible pet care. From building secure fencing as a humane alternative to tethering, to coordinating spay and neuter services and providing access to pet food and supplies, their work keeps pets in loving homes and reduces strain on local shelters. Their outreach efforts, including more than 1,400 home visits annually, create meaningful, lasting change for both pets and the people who love them.
Through every interaction, FIDO Indy is focused on one goal: helping pets live better lives while keeping families together. It’s work that makes a real difference across the Indianapolis community, and we’re proud to support their mission.
